Susan Young has taken on the Hot Body Challenge. Her first goal, over the course of the next few months, is to drop a dress size and go from a size 16 to a size 14, then from a size 14 to a size 12! Do you think she is up to the challenge? Do you think she has what it takes to become one extremely hot body? We do! All the guys at The Hot Body bootcamp are supporting her in her goals and just know she can do it! We are going to follow her progress over the next few months and watch her commitment to achieving the look and feel she has always wanted.
Susan says that she wants to, ‘get to the end of December feeling healthy and not stuffed full of chocolate etc and having gained weight – something I don’t think I have ever achieved. I would like to lose weight and not put it on! I would like to enjoy going out rather than dreading it and without wondering what I was going to wear!’
‘Becoming a Hot Body Boot camper has already changed my life tremendously in more ways than one. In the past I have tried various diets and forms of exercise in an attempt to lose weight and ultimately feel comfortable with how I look. I was at the point where exercise that had worked for me in the past was proving to be less effective and a friend mentioned she was going to be starting a bootcamp. I signed up for it that night and have now completed my third bootcamp in a row!
Bootcamp has definitely given me a renewed motivation to be active and whilst it can be an effort to get myself up in the morning I have really enjoyed being outdoors (even in the rain!), it sets me up for the day. Bootcamp has not been easy at times, I have had a lot of aches and pains along the way, but I believe the things that are most worthwhile often don’t come easy!’ But bootcamp is also lots of fun!
I have struggled to keep to the eating plan over the past few months but I know that to really get the results I want I have to give it 100% and stop making excuses about being busy, stressed, no time etc etc, I know they are all just excuses and I am determined to do this!! With Karen’s support and the rest of the hot body bootcampers behind me, I know I will succeed!!
Bootcamp is the most efficient form of exercise that I have ever done – it uses big muscle groups that burns fat efficiently and it targets those areas of my body that I have been finding more difficult to keep toned as I get older (stomach, arms, legs and butt) it also builds lean muscle which speeds up my metabolism. One of the things I love about bootcamp is being part of a group of people who are all working towards the same goals as me. Being part of a team of women all working hard to achieve their goals is amazing.
The idea of taking on The Hot Body Challenge, whilst maybe being quite scary, is a great motivator for me. My aim is to drop a few dress sizes, lose weight and inches and to feel good about how I look. So watch this space!!!!’
