4 Tips to Reduce Body Fat

Here are 4 tips to help you reduce body fat

Be Prepared

Subconsciously you can very easily set yourself up for failure before you’ve even begun if you’re not prepared for the lifestyle changes it takes to reduce body fat. If you want to succeed on your fat loss quest then you have to make sure you are prepared to fit new eating habits and workout plans into your every day. On the boot camp we provide you with help every step of the way with this but the general rules are the same.

Eat fresh and natural foods which are easy to prepare and take on the go, plan your food week before it starts and workout when it’s convenient to your own personal lifestyle morning, noon or night. When you make changes there is always a settling in period but if you prepare for success before you start then there is no way that you can fail!

Be Realistic

If you think that you’ll reduce your body fat just by exercising here and there then you are mistaken. In order to get the results out, you have to put the work in. If you’re consuming way over what your body expends then you’re going to need to exercise a whole lot more than the occasional half hearted session.

Yes the changes will be difficult at first and yes it may even hurt a little but anything worthwhile is a bit uncomfortable to start with so be realistic and know that what you put in you get out (literally!).

Make ‘Greens’ Your Best Friend

Vegetables are a natural wonder food and the food that the world provided us humans to eat, stay healthy and live long. If you seriously want to reduce your body fat then this is key to helping you do that. Leafy green vegetables need to be your number one best friend, closely followed by every other vegetable available to you. Packed with fibre and vitamins these are the best food source when trying to lose body fat and leading a healthy lifestyle.

Take Time to Chew

Chewing your food may seem a bit of an odd suggestion to help you reduce body fat but this process is actually a really effective way to reduce your calorie intake. Make sure you chew each mouthful of food at least 10 times; this is known as mindful eating which helps the digestion process and helps you to feel fuller quicker.

Don’t just sit in front of the TV shoveling mouthfuls of food blindly into your mouth and swallowing it before you’ve even taken two bites! Take time to enjoy all the flavours and texture so that you give your body the chance to absorb all the nutrients too.

Implement all of these on a daily basis and I guarantee you will seriously reduce your body fat!
